Challenge
The original kitchen featured heavy cherry cabinets, small windows, and a tight layout that made the space feel dark and isolated from the rest of the home. The countertops and backsplash were worn, and the appliances were outdated. The homeowner wanted a brighter, more open kitchen that could handle daily cooking and entertaining.
Solution
We removed the old dark cabinetry and installed new painted cabinetry throughout, opening sightlines to the backyard with enlarged windows and glass doors. We added recessed lighting and a statement pendant fixture over the island. New stainless steel appliances, white subway tile backsplash, and updated countertops completed the refresh. The redesigned layout improved workflow and created a more connected living space.
