Challenge
The original bathroom was outdated and cramped, with limited counter space and a dated layout that didn't support the homeowner's desire for a relaxing bathing experience. The space lacked storage, natural light integration, and modern finishes. The old vanity and fixtures took up valuable real estate without providing the functionality needed for a primary bath.
Solution
We opened up the layout and installed a large walk-in shower with marble subway tile and glass enclosure on one side, and positioned a freestanding soaker tub as a focal point in the center. A custom wood vanity with two sinks and ample storage replaced cramped original cabinetry. We added marble tile flooring, upgraded windows for better light, and installed modern fixtures including a handheld shower head and rainfall showerhead. A separate water closet with its own fixtures rounded out the design.
