The home lacked adequate bedroom and bathroom space. The existing layout couldn't meet the family's growing needs. The addition required new structural framing, proper insulation, and careful sequencing to integrate with the existing stone and brick facade while maintaining weathertightness during construction.
Solution
We framed a full second-floor addition with engineered roof trusses and dimensional lumber. Installed house wrap and sheathing for weather protection. Inside, we added insulation, drywall, recessed lighting throughout, and finished a master bedroom with new windows and a full ensuite bathroom. All work coordinated with existing home systems.
