Challenge
The homeowners had outgrown their existing layout and needed additional bedroom space. The original structure lacked the foundation to support expansion without proper framing and structural planning. Interior finishes were dated, and the home needed modernized systems throughout.
Solution
We built a complete second-floor addition with full-stick framing, including new roof structure, rafters, and weather wrap. Interior work included framing wall cavities, installing insulation and vapor barrier, hanging and finishing drywall, running electrical rough-in with recessed lighting, and preparing mechanical systems. We maintained structural integrity with proper bracing and sequencing throughout.
