Challenge
The deck showed significant age and deterioration. Boards near the house and around the chimney area were soft and compromised, the stain had faded unevenly with dark patches and lighter zones, and water damage was visible where the deck met the foundation. The homeowner needed the deck functional again before entertaining season.
Solution
We removed and replaced all compromised deck boards, including new pressure-treated lumber where rot was present. The deck was power-washed to remove dirt and loose finish, then stained with a fresh, even coat to protect the wood and restore color. All railings and structural framing were inspected and reinforced where needed to meet safety standards.
