Bridgewater kitchen renovation and cabinet replacement

This Bridgewater kitchen needed a full overhaul—cabinets were outdated, layout was cramped, and appliances were showing their age. We installed new white cabinetry throughout, repositioned the work zones, and brought in modern finishes to create a functional family kitchen.

Case study

How this project came together

Challenge

The original kitchen had dark wood cabinetry that felt heavy and closed-in, with an inefficient layout that wasted counter space. The galley-style configuration made it difficult to work in the space, and dated appliances limited functionality. The homeowner needed a brighter, more open feel while maintaining practical workflow.

Solution

We removed the old cabinetry and installed new white shaker-style cabinets with black hardware around the perimeter. The cabinet layout was reorganized to improve traffic flow and maximize usable counter space. We updated the ceiling lighting with a modern brushed-brass multi-light fixture and prepped the space for new flooring. The open shelving and recessed areas provide visual relief and storage flexibility.

Outcomes

  • Bright white cabinetry replaced dark wood, making the space feel larger and cleaner
  • Improved kitchen layout with better work zones and more accessible storage
  • Modern lighting and finishes that work with current home style
