This Branchburg homeowner needed to update a dated bathroom with limited functionality. HCC gutted and rebuilt the space with a spacious walk-in shower, new finishes, and a modern layout that feels twice as large.

Case study
Challenge
The original bathroom had an outdated tub-and-shower combo with basic fixtures and tired finishes. The space felt cramped and the worn aesthetic made daily use feel unpleasant. The homeowners wanted a shower they could actually move around in, modern tile work, and a cleaner overall appearance without losing storage or functionality.
Solution
HCC removed the old tub and shower surround and reconfigured the space to install a large walk-in shower with a bench. We installed large-format stone-look tile on the shower walls and floor with small hexagonal tile accents. A frameless glass enclosure keeps the space feeling open. The vanity was refreshed with new cabinetry and countertop. New recessed and overhead lighting, plus a built-in niche in the shower wall, complete the layout.
