Challenge
The bathroom suffered from a confusing layout with the jetted tub dominating the room and poor traffic flow. Dated tile wainscoting and beige subway tile walls made the space feel closed-in. The shower enclosure was cramped and inefficient. Storage was minimal, and the overall design didn't function well for daily use.
Solution
We demolished the existing layout and rebuilt from the studs. Installed a new glass-enclosed shower with clean tile surround, positioned for better sightlines. Replaced the jetted tub with a fresh installation and new tile apron. Added a new vanity with cabinetry for storage, installed updated lighting fixtures on either side of the mirror, and ran fresh tile flooring throughout. Applied wainscoting at chair rail height with paint above for a cleaner, more open feel.
