Challenge

The homeowner had a large, empty basement with dropped ceiling and concrete floors—basically unusable space. There was no clear layout, poor lighting, and no defined areas for different activities. The space lacked storage, work surfaces, and didn't feel like a room the family would actually spend time in.

Solution

We installed luxury vinyl flooring throughout for durability and easy cleaning. Built custom cabinetry with a work desk, shelving for storage, and a utility bar. Added recessed and linear ceiling lights for bright, even illumination. Framed out and painted separate zones with accent colors—blues, teals, and reds—to define the gaming area, lounge space, and utility corner. Installed multiple outlets for electronics.
