How to actually evaluate a contractor
- Look at Google Business reviews, not website testimonials. Anyone can write nice things about themselves. See ours →
- Verify the NJ HIC license number. Ours is #13VH10078600. You can verify any NJ contractor's registration on the public NJ Division of Consumer Affairs HIC search.
- Ask for an in-home consultation. Anyone giving you a quote over the phone without seeing the space is guessing. We come to you and put the quote in writing on-site.
- Read the full project notes on real projects — cost ranges, timelines, what changed, what didn't. Our project page has every job we've photographed.
