What you can request
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws, you may submit any of the following types of request:
- Right to know. Request a list of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, along with the sources of that information, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties (if any) we have shared it with.
- Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you. Subject to legal exceptions — for example, completing a transaction, defending a legal claim, or complying with a legal obligation.
- Right to correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to data portability. Request a copy of your personal information in a portable, commonly used format where applicable.
- Right to opt out of selling or sharing. Home Concepts Construction LLC does not sell or share personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA, but you may still submit a forward-looking opt-out request and we will record and honor it.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Request that we limit the use of certain categories of sensitive personal information.
What to include in your request
To help us locate your information and respond accurately, please include the following details when you submit your request:
- The type of request you are making (access, delete, correct, port, opt-out, or limit-sensitive).
- Your full name as you provided it when you first contacted us, if you remember.
- The email address and/or phone number you used when you first contacted us. This is the primary way we locate your record.
- Approximately when you first contacted us, if you remember.
- For correction requests, the specific information you believe is inaccurate and what it should be corrected to.
- For deletion requests, whether you also want us to direct any service providers (such as our CRM) to delete the same information.
You do not need to provide a reason for your request. We will not retaliate against you in any way for exercising your privacy rights.

How we verify your identity
To protect your privacy, we will need to verify your identity before processing most requests. The verification process is reasonable for the type and sensitivity of information requested. For most requests, we will ask you to confirm details we already have on file:
- The full name you provided when you contacted us;
- The email address or phone number associated with your inquiry;
- Approximately when you first reached out;
- The general nature of your inquiry or project (no sensitive details required).
For more sensitive requests — such as deletion of records related to an active project — we may ask for additional verification. We will not use information you provide for verification purposes for any other reason.
Response timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days of receipt. We will complete your request within 45 calendar days, as required by CCPA/CPRA. If your request is unusually complex or we receive an unusually high volume of requests, we may extend this period by an additional 45 days. If we do, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it before the original 45-day window expires.
For requests submitted by mail, the timeline begins when we receive your letter at the address above.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If you do, we will require:
- Written permission signed by you authorizing the agent to act on your behalf;
- Direct verification of your identity with us; or
- A valid power of attorney granted under applicable law.
If we deny your request
We may deny a request, in whole or in part, if it is not verifiable or if a legal exception applies (for example, if we are required to retain certain records by law, or if completing the request would compromise the privacy of another person). If we deny your request, we will tell you in writing why, and we will tell you which portions (if any) we were able to complete.
Non-discrimination
Home Concepts Construction LLC will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. We will not deny services, charge different prices, provide a different quality of service, or retaliate in any way for the submission of a privacy request.
